gnomeExtensions.show-hostname-and-ip
Displays the machine’s hostname and local IP address directly on the desktop.
Displays in two lines:
- Line 1 → the machine’s hostname.
- Line 2 → the first local IP address.
- Automatically updates every 30 seconds.
- Customizable via the extension’s preferences panel:
- Horizontal and vertical position of the lines.
- Opacity.
- Font size.
This project is based on the Activate GNOME extension by isjerryxiao.
